Since mid-fifties
of the last century, the use of prestress concrete structures has growth with the help of the
daily development of construction materials’ technology.
In a discussion with
one of my friends he mentioned a very good point. He said that the prestressed
concrete structures have the advantages of booth steel and ordinary concrete
structures as they are using less materials than ordinary concrete structures with
high strength capacity and less maintenance than that needed by steel structures.
